Shiraishi Kuranosuke - Tsuioku

Recollection

In the spring sunlight my frozen memories
are slowly starting to wake up
The memories about you are somewhat sweet
but they keep stabbing my chest

I kept hurting you with pointless things
although I promised I wouldn't do it again

Under a cherry blossom shower
I think about you again and again
If I could have you beside me once more
I would never let you go
I would, with these hands,
change this cold season back to colorful times
Because I want to give you the smile
of that one spring colored day

I believed I knew
that I was beginning to be obsessed with a dream
Even when I noticed your sadness
I always left it to be handled later

It would be better if these legs that move on their own,
would stop for just a moment

Under a cherry blossom shower
I think of the unforgettable you
It's not like my regrets are melting,
but they continue to rain in my heart
My feelings are not so simple
that they'd stop once we get separated
I know it's too late but
I want to hold you in my arms

I know the passed time
doesn't come back,
But because I knew I can't forget you
if this goes on:

Under a cherry blossom shower
I run to you once more
On a road covered with petals
I run with my eyes firmly on you
I would, with these hands,
change this cold season back to colorful times
Because I want to give you the smile
of that one spring colored day
of that one spring colored day
